I’ve finally recovered from the flu that started late last year.

Since it happened right around the end of the year, it gave me a chance to rest my body properly and appreciate my usual good health.

No matter what happens, health comes first. This year, I want to move forward while also listening carefully to my body’s needs.

Last year blessed me with many wonderful connections. I hope this year will bring more diverse experiences through my brushwork.

Continuing from last year, I’ll be holding workshops teaching calligraphy to foreigners, workshops for children and children with autism spectrum disorder, and in-person lessons in France. For my own creative work, events await: a two-person exhibition in Brittany, France, in July, and a demonstration at the France Pavilion at the Osaka Expo in September.

I’m excited to see what new encounters this year will bring.

I hope to share many happy moments with all of you.

I look forward to your continued support this year.
